I haven't posted a real picture of Amirra since... well... a few days after I joined dA, actually.

For those who don't know, Amirra is my old Mary Sue. She has a lot of "unique" troublesome features, making her unusable as a book character, but I love her anyway. She represents a lot of dear memories to me, and she was the one who really proved that I could write a novel. Her story was over 160,000 words in total before I abandoned it!

She was meant to be twelve at the time of the climax. :giggle: Oh, the things I wrote.

I think I'm improving. :)

...Is it weird that she and Athryl have very similar eye shapes?...

This is one of :iconyeoldedeviations-plz:, so please don't critique it.

Ehem, I apologise for commenting on this AGAIN (I can't stay away from your gallery, plus, this pic seems to make me want to natter. I'll go away if you like...) But do you think there is this weird psychological thing to do with hair? Because I think almost every girl at one point in her life wants beautiful, long flowing hair which is trouble-less and blows in the wind. Like, well, this hair, or the Disney Pocahontas', or something...
I know a sure did (do...)

Don't apologize; I like talking to you.

I would agree with that statement. I think a lot of movies and such romanticize very long hair, and it's rare enough to feel special and individualistic. That's probably why I've kept my waist-length curls. I think there's a part of every girl that wants long, gorgeous hair that can blow like that of a Disney princess. :D

Of course, while they might be able to get long, flowing hair, the "trouble-less" part will never happen... unless they want their hair to turn into one big knot. XD

Hehe, indeed. My sister has always favoured short hair, but I like mine long...and I never bother straightening it or anything. (Other girls: Oh no, it's raining, my hair's going to get all curly! Me: Oh no, it's raining, my hair's going to get all...wet.)
I like curly hair x]

Waa! She may be a Mary Sue, but she's got awesome hair and magic xD
Reminds me of my old bad story (seriously, it was like the mutated offspring of Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and various fantasy videogames I've played *shudder*) and the Mary Sues who inhabited it. Again, I feel the same way about it, it was the thing which proved I could FINISH something. The story was 152 Word pages long...the number is forever imprinted into my mind...

Thanks!

Ha ha, how old were you when you wrote it? :)
One hundred fifty-two pages is a lot! Amirra's story proved the same thing to me. Her story was a lot like LOTR, too. What a coincidence!

I started it when I was about...*thinking face* Nine..? I filled like, 3 notebooks with it in Year 5 (not sure what that is in American school terms) and then the next year I started writing it all out on the computer...hmm...
And I'm not even mentioning my horrible fanfiction thing based around the character of 'Louise' who could control water and shapeshift into anything, grew up in the wild, fixed up an abandoned barge and lived alone on it with her many pets *shudder* The HORROR!
